Bilawal lambasts former, future PPP foreign minister

The National Assembly saw a heated session where PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lambasted his party’s former and future foreign minister.

“The honourable member from Multan might posture now, but I remember the time when he used to raise naara-e-Bhutto,” said the PPP co-chairman of his party’s former foreign minister from 2008 to 2011.

“The prime minister does not quite know his foreign minister, he shall find out soon enough,” said Bilawal, of his party’s future foreign minister who, three months after formally leaving the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf, will formally join the PPP.

“I would urge the PM to ask the intelligence agencies to thoroughly bug his foreign minister’s communications” said the young leader who communications have only recently stopped being thoroughly bugged by the agencies. “Because you never know if he is colluding with foreign powers.”

“The man is a sham,” said Bilawal who would be sitting in an uncomfortably cobbled cabinet with said sham in several years’ time.
