Man appointed to hire son-in-law’s colleagues

INSIDE THE OFFICE: One of the country’s topmost enterprises has hired a new Human Resource (HR) manager for a team that primarily leads the business’s growth.

The appointment of the new HR manager, who until seven years ago led this special team, has been deemed extra noteworthy owing to the presence of his son-in-law as a leading figure of the team, whose popularity among his teammates has grown even further after the recent appointment, sources confirm.

“I don’t think my son-in-law’s teammates have been doing a good job. The results that they have been giving speak for themselves,” said the new HR manager while talking to the press after his much-heralded appointment.

“It is now my job to ensure that this changes and that everyone does better, starting with the team lead,” he added.

It is worth noting that the new HR manager has been a vocal critic of his son-in-law’s boss, with all eyes on how the team lead gets along with the new HR manager, who has been given a short-term contract, which observers feel is likely to be extended.

“Well, the stats show that the team lead is the best performing member of the team, but it is his leadership that I am especially going to look towards going forward,” the HR manager told the media.

“Otherwise, we will hope to find other leaders among those who have been among the best-performing members of the team.”
