Two MNAs inform national assembly they know each other

ISLAMABAD – In what was the most significant political development of the day, two of nation’s leading politicians, members of National Assembly, informed the lower house on Wednesday that they knew each another.

As the National Assembly stood still over the two parliamentarians’ revelations that they know one another, it was further unveiled to the house that the two MNAs have been aware of one another’s existence for a long, but unsubstantiated, time.

“I know you,” said the first MNA, currently serving as the foreign minister, informing the chairperson of a leading opposition party, under whom the former had also served as the foreign minister.

“No, I know you,” responded the second MNA when his time came to speak, while the first MNA interrupted him to tell him that it was in fact he who knew him.

The news of the development was broken by a media house whose journalists coincidentally knew both of them, while they reported the news to viewers who too were largely cognisant of the identities and careers of the two politicians.

At press time, both MNAs were seen standing outside the Parliament House shouting at one another just how much they knew about each other.
