Have personally heard private phone conversations of journalists in which they spread false allegations about govt tapping phones: Gill

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shehbaz Gill has alleged that some journalists are spreading malicious lies that the government is spying on them by tapping their phones.

“I have personally heard these private phone conversations,” he said, while speaking to reporters at a press conference at the PID. “I have recordings in which they are making these completely baseless allegations.”

“I have shared the link on the PID website where you can download the recordings,” he said.

“By the way, Siddiqui Sb, you might want to keep an eye out on your kids, specially the eldest,” he said at the end of the press conference, to a reporter of a daily newspaper. “Not hanging out with a good crowd these days.”
