ISLAMABAD: Spokesperson of the ministry of finance Muzammil Aslam said on Thursday that it was really funny that the mainstream television channels of the country couldn’t even differentiate between him and a parody account of his on Twitter.
“Hahah, they are so stupid,” he said. “When they cannot tell my tweets apart from those of an online smart alec who just wants to crack jokes.”
His statements came in the aftermath of several major tv news channels attributing to him the tweets of a parody account of his.
“This is really too funny,” he said, with tears running down this cheeks. “This is just some dude trying to be funny, but doing so by fashioning his tweets into resembling something I would have said.”
“Hahaha, this is so hilarious,” he said. “They somehow think I’m a walking, talking caricature of myself.”
