Hot on the heels of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s successful Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission, Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPRACO) has announced that, far from ISRO’s unmanned mission, they plan to put a man on the Moon Block (Phase-2) of the SUPARCO Cooperative Housing Society by 2025.
“Is it an ambitious plan? Yes. Are we still going to do it? Also, yes,” said SUPARCO chief Major General Amer Nadeem, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), “The whole deciding factor is the level of grit one shows and seeing things through.”
Moon, Rose, Shaheen and Markhor are the four blocks of every phase of the housing society. Till date, the Rose and Shaheen blocks of Phase 2 have been completed, but Moon and Rose remained uncompleted.
“Wish us well.”
