    • Fbr officials are representative of the people of Pakistan. There are exceptions to this but most of us are corrupt at our own levels. We lie, we hoard, we take away what is not ours, we disobey the law whenever it suits us. When we get caught we try to bribe our way out of the penalty. We beat up innocents to make a point. We vandalise public property whenever we take out a procession. A doodh wala mixes water in his doodh. A Sabzi wali will charge you more than the market rate if he can. We do not want to stop at traffic signals, if someone is driving slow we get angry and if someone is driving fast we get angry but we do the same. We can’t even maintain a single line when traffic is jammed. And No one wants to pay tax not even a salaried person. If tax was not deducted from salary at payment stage majority would stop paying that as well. Many businesses still give separate cash payments that are not shown in books. Most businesses have two books of accounts. We have to correct ourselves first before Fbr, politicians, judiciary etc becomes honest and effective. Long way to go.
