‘Udhar tum, idhar hum’ chants Bilawal after tearing PDM show-cause notice

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Sunday tore apart the show-cause notice issued to it by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chanting ‘Udhar tum, idhar hum’ in a clear message to the alliance that the future relied on the two parties ruling over their separate spheres of influence.

The development comes a week after The Dependent had reported that the PDM is about to split into Nazariyati (PDM-N) and Zarooriyati (PDM-Z) factions.

“Udhar tum idhar hum,” chanted Bilawal while heading the crucial meeting of PPP’s Central Executive Committee as he tore the PDM’s notice. “Jahannum mein jaaein. S*** ke bachay jahannum mein jaaein,” added the PPP chairman.

Addressing the Central Executive Committee, Bilawal said that he was no one to take the decision on the eastern wing of the PDM all alone, and that it is the will of the PPP members that will determine the future of the two wings.

“Main chahta hoon aap faisla karein unn ke saath aap kis qism ke taaluqaat chahtay hain. Kyunke faisla aap ko karna hai. Main kaunsi cheez hoon ke aap ka faisla main karoon?” he added.

Experts say, Bilawal’s words are destined to transform the two PDM wings into separate entities, with one alone remaining as the PDM, while the other forming a separate entity altogether.

“By officially declaring them outside the bounds of democracy, by excommunicating them, I have solved a 50-year-old problem,” exclaimed Bilawal.
