Michael Owen vows to bring Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan

LONDON: English football legend Michael Owen has promised the youth of Pakistan that he will bring three-time prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif back to the country, ‘very soon’.

In a video message to the nation’s youngsters, the newly appointed ambassador of the Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive said he is proud to have been given the task of bringing Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistani jail by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself.

“Salaam, all you jawaans. I’m delighted to have been assigned a special task by one of the world’s great cricketers, who today stands tall and proud as a visionary leader of Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan. I have been asked to bring back the ganju patwari Nawaz Sharif,” Owen said in the video message.

Further elaborating his task as the ambassador of the Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive, Owen said Pakistan had a lot of talent but unfortunately the youth of Pakistan were ‘stuck with Sharifs and Zardaris’.

“When I was a teenager I was scoring wonder goals at the World Cup, while some of you now in your 20s were stuck with Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari in your teens,” Owen maintained.

Meray Pakistaniyo, I promise you, if these two families, the Sharifs and the Bhuttos, bring back the money they have looted and stacked overseas, I guarantee you Pakistan will win the FIFA World Cup,” he added.

The football star further added that he won’t rest till he has punished the Sharif and Bhutto families.

Main inhein rulaunge,” vowed the Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive ambassador.
