ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday gave senior Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda, a special award while distributing appreciation certificates among federal ministers over their outstanding performance.
Keeping in line with the recognition given to Vawda by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), PM Khan announced a special award for the PTI leader, ‘Best Actor in Double Role’.
While addressing the ceremony in Islamabad, the premier said that to assess the qualitative performance, weightage should be given to the performers that showed complete dedication to their role.
“Here I would like to pay a special tribute to Faisal Vawda, who in recent years has not only showed complete dedication to the role, but also total dedication to me,” the PM said while addressing the award ceremony.
While 10 main awards were given in addition to Vawda’s special award, the highlight of the day was Minister for Communications Murad Saeed being given the ‘best’ award of the night.
“I am absolutely satisfied with Murad’s performance,” the PM told the gathering.
