‘6 din, azaadi in’, Imran tells supporters

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has given his followers a comprehensive six-day play to woo haqeeqi azaadi and convince it to be theirs.

While addressing the protesters at Islamabad’s 9th Avenue on Thursday morning, Khan said it is important for them to seize the moment, because one never knows about tomorrow.

Aaj… aaj ek ehtejaaj aur baant lo aaj ek hukoomat aur maang lo… aaj ek kaarwayi aur pee lo… aaj ek dharna aur jee lo… aaj ek container aur dekh lo… aaj… kya pata, kal ho na ho,” the PTI chief told his supporters.

In his address, Khan also told the protestors how haqeeqi azaadi can be won, giving a daily schedule that they need to follow over a span of six days.

Chhay din, azaadi in,” Khan chanted in his trademark style, then going on to elaborate the crux of the plan.

Jitna tum azaadi ke peeche bhaago ge, utna hi woh tum se duur bhaage gi. Agar tum azaadi ke peeche nahi bhaagoge to woh confuse ho jaaye gi aur tumharay peechay bhaagay gi, yeh pata karnay ke liye ke woh confuse kyun hai,” the PTI chief added, asking the protestors not to chase freedom, but to let the freedom chase them.

Meray paas parchi to nahi, magar aey haseen, aagay ki lines main jaanta nahi,” he added.

At press time, Kaanta Ben was observing the scenes at 9th Avenue in horror.
