HOLY LAND– The nation’s Holy Cow has expressed its relief at not being sacrificed this Eid-ul-Azha, The Dependent can confirm. This was stated in a high level inner security meeting, well placed sources have revealed. The development comes after a politically significant gathering took place at a fast food outlet this week.
Eid-ul-Azha saw the die hard fans of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan gather at a local McDonald’s waiting for some government official to come and be made fun of in their own gratuitous ways. Amid the wait, they started gossipping, The Dependent has learnt.
One aficionado said that the leader of the ummah sacrificed a goat this Eid which shows his humble attitude. “Had he wanted, he would have sacrificed a huge cow worth millions of rupees. After all, no one knows sacrificial animals better than Khan,” they said, sources privy to the gossip have informed The Dependent.
Another added: “Since the big brother was watching everything, they must have been relieved that Khan sacrificed a goat and not a cow this Eid.”
Here, a DHA resident expressed concern and started cry-singing in Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice: “saanu muqaddas cow pichhay laa kay, saanu muqaddas cow pichhay laa kay, aha aha, saanu muqaddas cow pichhay laa kay, tay sohna Khan goat neutralise kar gya.”
But a wise member of the gathering found a hidden meaning in Khan’s act. “Guys you are just being emotional. See the boots can best be made from goatskin leather. If this goat’s skin is successfully turned into boots, our very own Faisal Vawda can bring one into a live show and convince the Holy Cow we are back to square one”, he exclaimed.
According to sources, the group has regained its energy and focus as another high level inner security meeting has been summoned by the Holy Cow.
