Miftah, ChatGPT and Mustafa Nawaz jailed for five years after ChatGPT generates dangerous response to ‘how to reimagine Pakistan’

Former Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Miftah Ismail, former Pakistan People’s Party leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar and OpenAI application ChatGPT were arrested Saturday evening after ChatGPT generated an anti-state idea for reimagining Pakistan.

“The convicted three were found to have insulted state institutions, when the third, who goes by the street name ChatGPT, blurted out the offensive statements in response to a question on ‘reimagining Pakistan,’” said interior minister Rana Sanaullah.

“The complete overhaul of one particular state institution, which ChatGPT said was the only way forward, is an offensive statement and we can never allow anyone, or anything, make it, be they former cabinet members, or large language models.”
