Bill Gates impressed with how state had updated all software

During his historic first visit ever to Pakistan, Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates expressed his admiration for how the state had updated all software in the country.

“It is truly impressive and quite a feat that not only is all software updated here but that updated status is being actively maintained and expanded by continuously updating all software through updates”, commented Bill Gates after a meeting with key government officials at PM house.

The billionaire philanthropist went on to explain it was very difficult to achieve such a high rate of updation in the US due to very stringent red tape and certain laws. “Some of the amendments in our constitution for instance are hurdles”, he added.

During a luncheon held in honor of Mr Gates, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that arriving to the point of near 100% updation was no easy task, thanking himself and especially the armed forces for their logistical support in this massive exercise that began a little over three years ago.

Later in the day Mr Gates was treated to a mock demonstration of how efficiently he updating process was executed. “Wow, I would never have been able to come up with the idea of engaging the agriculture department in this effort”, said a confused yet intrigued Bill Gates after the completion of the demonstration.
