RAWALPINDI – Receiving condemnation from all stakeholders, Rawalpindi over the past week was found at fault for conditions that render an even contest virtually impossible.
With concerns raised immediately after the matchup gathered steam, Rawalpindi was accused of creating an atmosphere of play that visibly favoured one group over the other.
“This made stalemate a foregone conclusion, meaning that one didn’t get what one really wanted out of the competition,” noted a leading analyst of the competition.
“Given the significance of the occasion, the least Rawalpindi could’ve offered the viewers, millions of whom were glued to the match, is the guarantee of a result,” another commentator of the sport underlined.
Analysts hope that the upcoming days would offer the aficionados of the sport and its high profile participants something more conclusive and result oriented to look forward to.
