PTI supporters urge Sri Lankans to storm Rawalpindi

The supporters of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf have collectively urged the irate and brave populace of Sri Lanka to stand up to power and to storm the offices of key institutions in the city of Rawalpindi.

“The brave and inspirational brothers and sisters of Sri Lanka should complete their task,” wrote the admin of the PTI Tigers (Lahore) Facebook page. “They should move just an additional 3000 kilometres and storm the real source of power.”

“That will really show these guys who the boss is,” said the anonymous social media page.

The same views were echoed throughout the major social media pages run by the erstwhile ruling party.

“Nations seldom get a chance to come out and change their destiny,” read Kaptaanians, a Karachi-based Facebook page. “History has given that chance to Sri Lankans. They should not let this go!”
