ISLAMABAD– Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said the nation should not forget the sacrifices of those who had planted drugs in his vehicle in 2019.
In an exclusive interview with The Dependent, Sanaullah said that anyone critical of those who created the drugs case against him would be punished for maligning the national institution.
“I will personally put such people behind bars for two years and fine them Rs500,000,” the interior minister told this scribe.
“They stay up all night to ensure that we sleep peacefully. How dare anyone think of committing such treason,” he exclaimed.
Sanaullah further said the framing of the drugs case itself was evidence that those behind it had the country’s best interests at heart.
“I could have been framed under so many true charges, but fabricating a case against me shows they’ve always had the heart in the right place,” he said.
“But most importantly these days they have the vote in the right place as well.”
