CRICKETABAD – In a message delivered countrywide, the nation’s cricket connoisseurs on Wednesday were asked to come one-down.
Asking them to leave their comfort zone and think out-of-the-box, the country’s former cricketers and experts of the sport, were asked to vacate their position and let someone else take their place.
“This is where you are all the time, and have been for a long time. It is better if you let someone else in and come one-down to change things up,” the experts were categorically told.
“It would be great if you let a fresher replacement take your position and check what they have to offer. A new perspective might do everyone good,” the critics were further informed.
The message further reiterated that one should never let egotism get the better of their judgement, especially when the matters concerned resonate among the entire populace.
“One shouldn’t be so rigid and narrow-minded, so as to just see things as you want to see them,” the message sent to the experts of the nation’s favourite sport said.
“Yours might have been the right way in the recent past, but you should be flexible with your approach now,” the message added.
“Please consider coming one-down.”
