Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that certain sections of the press and social media are deliberately misinterpreting his statements from a recent interview where he seemed to be threatening PTI chairperson Imran Khan. “
Speaking at a press conference, he said: “They are saying that I meant the government will be tough on him politically, whereas I clearly talked about elimination.”
“Stop twisting my words,” he said.
“My statement of ‘either he will remain or we will’ did not mean anything by way of the next government,” he said. “I meant we need to…” he then made a motion with his hand slicing his neck.
“Excuse me now, I need to use the loo,” he said, bringing the press conference to an end. “By that, I mean I need to take a dump.”
