BAJPARK- The world has been left awe struck by a new brand of plays dominating a traditional sport in recent weeks.
Named ‘Bajball’ after the founder of the aggressive strategy, the playmaking has enthralled viewers traditionally accustomed to more laid back action on the field.
Bajball has been making headlines on a regular basis leaving many wondering around the globe how such previously unthinkable moves have been made possible by one mastermind.
“I’ve never been more interested in my favourite sport than I am now, and all credit goes to Baj for introducing a new, exciting, brand to all of us,” noted long-time viewer Najam Sherazi.
While critics of the sport have long argued that it is tedious and never ending, even alluding to its colonial roots, the viewers remain hooked to the screens. But even though Bajball is garnering acclaim, not everyone is a fan.
“Bajball has ruined the beautiful sport. It is against the spirit of the game and has sidelined my favourite players. I can no longer support it,” insisted veteran observer Sabir Maqbool Riaz.
There are others who believe that Bajball has long existed under different banners and this new found focus is simply owing to more interest than usual.
“The game is ancient. The team has done many similar things in the past. Enjoy it if you want but don’t say this is anything groundbreaking,” noted another long-time fan wishing anonymity citing security concerns over the shared opinion.
