Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Special Assistant for Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that the law and order situation in Swat had been affected, but not every incident could be attributed to the Taliban only on the basis that those specific incidents were carried out by the Taliban.
“The truth is not its own defence,” the trained lawyer said.
On Tuesday, while speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Saif that if the TTP accepted responsibility for an incident, it did not mean that it was done by the TTP; similarly if they actually carried out an attack, it doesn’t mean that they did.
“This is all very simple,” he said, speaking to reporters. “If you want to complicate it unnecessarily, then I can’t help it.”
