Saqlain tells off inconsiderate Abrar for taking wickets before other bowlers waiting in queue

MULTAN – Pakistan head coach Saqlain Mushtaq told off debutant Abrar Ahmed during the lunch break for taking all five of England’s wickets in the first session of the second Test, The Dependent can confirm.

Going straight to Abrar as the Pakistan team returned to the dressing room with England at 180/5, Saqlain asked the leg-spinner if he had any respect for others’ feelings.

“How do you think everyone else is feeling right now with you taking all the wickets? Do you ever think about others? How can you be so inconsiderate?” the coach said while telling off Abrar, well-placed sources in the dressing room have informed The Dependent.
“I don’t like players who fast-track their way ahead.

Just because you can turn the ball so much, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t wait for your turn,” Saqlain added.

The head coach further reminded Abrar to pay due respect to ‘qudrat ka nizaam’ reiterating that everything has to be done in accordance with its due order.

“You disrupt order when you break the queue to perform better than others who have been waiting longer to perform well,” Saqlain said.

“Now you better respect your seniors and wait till all other bowlers have taken five wickets each before taking your next wicket.”
